I do travel quite a lot and sometimes it takes me a while to catch up with my email.

Why should you believe my information and recommendations?

First, I have an ongoing interest in ways that people can create their own small business and get out of the rat race.

My husband and I have had a small publishing company for over 20 years. We've published books,informational videos and DVDs, and websites, on llamas, ecological building, learning Spanish, and quite a few other topics... see the complete list at hartworks.com. There have been many times when we were doing side jobs to pay the bills.

Second, I have been a reference librarian as well as a library director. Like most librarians, I am a bit compulsive about finding accurate information and about sharing it with others.

Finally, read the pages on this site that interest you, and see if  they ring true to you. I certainly intend for them to!
